Wij zitten met een groot probleem.
Angel één van onze borders is sinds onze kleine kan kruipen en lopen niet meer
zoals ze moet zijn,
ze is heel lief voor hem en begroet hem buiten ook heel normaal maar eenmaal
binnen kan ze hem niet velen en begint te grommen. de andere border
beschermt de kleine en het is nu al tot een bloedig gevecht gekomen. verder
is de border heel lief(ze heet angel en dat is ze ook. kinderen vanaf 4 jaar
is geen probleem.
ik hoop dat jij misschien en goed huis weet voor haar, we willen dit
eigenlijk niet maar het moet en doet ons veel pijn dus daarom doen we haar
niet in een asiel want dan weet je nooit of ze een goed huis krijgt. ik hoop
dat iemand ons kan helpen.

Goed tehuis gezocht!

Tijdens mijn vakantie in Griekenland ben ik dit schattig hondje tegen het lijf gelopen. Hij liep midden op de weg te zwerven toen wij hem tegenkwamen. Toen ik hem vervolgens een beetje van de weg wilde verplaatsten zat hij aan mij vast geplakt en besloot ik hem mee naar huis te nemen. Na 2 dagen stress is het mij gelukt om hem mee het vliegtuig op te krijgen terug naar Nederland!

Nu zoek ik een heel fijn baasje voor deze lieve jongen! Het is een mannetje van ongeveer 4 maanden oud. Hij is nog heel klein dus de dierenarts schat dat hij niet groot zal worden, waarschijnlijk ergens rond de 5 tot 7 Kg. Hij is ontvlooit en ontwormd, en heeft zijn Rabies vaccin gehad. Daarnaast is hij ook gechipt en heeft hij een paspoort.

Het is een hele aanhankelijke hond, het liefst is hij de hele tijd bij je in de buurt. Ik sluit hem ‘s nachts op in de keuken zodat hij toch leert om alleen te zijn. Meestal jankt hij eventjes maar dat houd snel weer op! Hij kan ook al aan de lijn lopen, en doet netjes zijn behoeftes buiten. Alleen soms als de nacht iets te lang duurt kan er wel eens een ongelukje gebeuren… Hij is heel vriendelijk tegen andere mensen en honden, maar hij kan eerst een beetje bang zijn waardoor hij kan gaan blaffen. Hij is heel onderdanig aan andere honden en gaat meteen liggen. Met katten gaat het iets moeilijker. Hij kan grommen en naar ze toe rennen, en kan zelfs happen…maar aangezien hij nog jong is moet dit nog gecorrigeerd worden. Hoe hij met andere dieren is weet ik niet, ik weet wel dat hij niet lijkt te reageren op vogels of eenden als we aan het wandelen zijn.

Wie kan dit schatje een geweldig huis bieden?

Goed thuis gezocht voor Emma
 
Emma is een schat van een hondje. Ze is niet groot en 45 cm hoog. Ze is heel lief voor mensen, kinderen en andere honden. Ze is weerbaar tegenover honden die haar willen bijten en heeft een harde blaf. Emma is aanhankelijk en dankbaar en supergezond volgens de dierenarts. Ze is niet te dik, maar stevig gespierd.
Emma is in haar jonge jaren mishandeld en heeft zelfs anderhalf jaar gezworven in Emmen. Ze is 3 jaar geleden gevangen en gesocialiseerd en heeft het goed gehad bij haar huidige baasje die veel met haar ging wandelen. Haar baasje kan Emma nu niet meer verzorgen vanwege ziekte. De laatste paar weken plast Emma af en toe in huis, net zoals ze 3 jaar geleden deed. Daarnaast heeft ze verlatingsangst en ze verhaard. Emma is 9 jaar oud.
Emma verdient een lieverd die haar gaat vertroetelen. Wie?

Greg and Roy we think are related.  They were tied to the shelter gates.  They are friendly, if a little scared of all the dogs around them.  Greg is large, 3 years, grey coloured.  Roy is medium, 6 years, brown coloured.  They are both very sweet and loving.  They have tested negative for leish and heartworm.

Beide honden verblijven in een asiel in Portugal

Jackie,
In 2009 is Jackie uit een benarde situatie in Spanje gered en via ACE naar Nederland gekomen. Helaas gaan deze mensen scheiden en moet er voor de honden een goed tehuis gevonden worden, omdat ze beiden 40 uur moeten gaan werken. Jackie is een gesteriliseerd teefje van 1-2 jaar en is heel gemakkelijk met alle honden (katten onbekend, maar gezien het ras waarschijnlijk geen goed idee samen) Jackie is erg slim en ook heel aanhankelijk. Ze heeft het liefste de hele dag aandacht! Bij deze mensen thuis is ze heel goed samen met de dochter van 8 jaar. Die kan alles met haar doen. Jongens en mannen is ze minder gek op. Hier blijft ze voor op haar hoede. Dit komt meer dan waarschijnlijk door haar slechte ervaring die ze in Spanje met mannen gehad heeft.

Rifa is de dog en ook voor hem wordt een goed tehuis gezocht en het zou
helemaal mooi zijn als er een plekje voor hun samen zou zijn.

De zoveelste mail over een asiel dat gaat sluiten in Frankrijk (Penthievre) met een verzoek om hulp. Ze zoeken een huis voor 40 voornamelijk oude honden. The police is going to take all the dogs, (many very old !) to put them in different shelters where they risk being killed because of their age !

- Wirta, a mixed of German shepherd, a real love, getting along with everybody ! She asks one thing : to be loved and respected ! She is neutered.


- Lemon, an English setter, must be around 10 years old...He wants a little of comfort, and peace.



- Bobby, also an old opa, so gentle, so sweet !



- And Trotinette, who is a mixed of Fauve de Bretagne (French breed) who is only 6 years old.



The French protectors are ready to pay to put all these dogs in order of vaccinations, EU passport, if they get a chance of being adopted...

Please, have a look to these poor dogs who do not ask anything and that human beings are going to decide of their life...or their death !!!

These 2 dogs are going to be taken by the police because of very bad sanitary situation in which they live.

Dock is a rottweiler of 1 year old, probably with a long tail (I wait for the confirmation).



Dropy is a mixed of shepherd, also of 1 year old.



 They are demanding to be cuddled, they are absolutely nice and sweet... and so thin !
 
If no solution for these dogs, they are going to be killed on the 1st of April. They still must be chiped, vaccinated, and of course, they are not castrated.
 
I made a dream...If they could be adopted together, it would be so nice !
Indeed, they seem to love each other so much, because they knew together, such a horrible life !
 
If they are reserved, then, we are going to find a Ps for them for the time they can leave...
 
So, please, a solution for these poor, so gentle dogs !

Bolinha is a four year old small sized female. She has been with a foster family for almost one month, before that she was also on the streets. She was in good condition when found, so we think she came from a home. But we also think that wherever she was she had a hard time. She is very friendly and loving to her foster family, but is scared of strangers. She is also very protective with other dogs, something she probably learnt on the streets and may get over. Presently with a foster family.

Valentino is a dalmation-like large four to fiver year old male.  He is very good with people, very playful and kind.  He is from a family, but their land is not fenced and he has chased the neighbours sheep so they can no longer keep him.  Presently at a boarding kennel.  Unfortunately he does have leish but has received treatment and the disease is controlled.  Presently at a boarding kennel.

Sue was a wonderful mother who has obviously had lots of puppies.  She and her last litter of puppies were unwanted and they were all dumped on the streets in January.  The puppies have all found homes and Sue has been spayed and is thought to be about four years old.  She is large.  She is a loving girl, very gentle, good with all dogs (often seen grooming them) and we think ok with cats.  She deserves a rewarding home for having cared for all her puppies for so long.  She also loves her food and could do with some more exercise.  She is not at the shelter but staying at a boarding kennel, they will take another dog from the shelter is Sue finds a home.

Princess (now known as Bella) found a home abroad in March. 
Very sadly she tested positive for heartworm and another dog went to that home in her place.  She found a loving foster family who has cared for her and she is now completely well and healthy.  She is house trained, she walks well on the lead, she is even excellent with cats, kittens and children.  She loves people an is very eager to please.  She has loved living in a home and having attention.  Unfortunately, she does like to escape and kill the neighbour’s chickens, so now that she is well she needs to find a home (preferably with a fence) or she will have to go back to the shelter.
 
She is a loving, calm and gentle dog who deserves a place of her own and will be a rewarding addition to any family.
 
She is a large two year old female.  She is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.  She tested negative for leish and now tests negative for heartworm.

Simon is an extra large male a rafeiro mix! He is 1 to 2 years. He is energetic, outgoing, very friendly, loves attention and is quite gentle. Although he is not yet neutered, he also gets along very well with the other dogs. He was brought in by the Sao Bras camara and is presently at the shelter.

Sima is an extra extra friendly and an extra extra playful (smallish) medium sized female, about three years old.  When she sees people she plays so much (and since she is not used to it) she completely wears herself out.  She will make an extremely loving and devoted dog for any new family. All these dogs are either at Goldra or from Goldra and now in foster care but in need of a permanent home.  Although the original closure date for Goldra has been extended, it is still to close this year and all the dogs must find somewhere new to live.

Joe is a large female pointer mix.  About two to three years old and very friendly.  She loves attention and is always one of the first dogs to come up to visitors.

Haley is a lovely large 18 month female. She was at Goldra until recently and is now in foster care and coming along really well.
